Stucco is a material that is timeless. It has been used in architecture for a long time. Longer than you or I have been alive. It’s a classic choice and adds a touch of sophistication to any building.
So why is it a sidekick to stone? It’s not competing to be the main event.
Everyone knows that stone is the pinnacle of choices for housing curb appeal. But to cover your entire house in stone is an expensive endeavour. Most people choose to cut the amount of stone with brick, siding, or stucco, but finding a complementary brick can be an ordeal in itself, and siding can start to look too busy with all the extra lines.
But stucco? Stucco has lots of colour choices, does not add extra texture competing with the stone, and creates a nice balance.
