Oh boy! (Imagine that said with exasperation, not excitement). I was booked in to present our virtual home test drives to a group of builders. To say that I was nervous is an understatement. I mean, is anyone born with the gene that makes public speaking no problem?
I worked on this presentation for a quite a while, sometimes even having to get out of the desk chair so I could keep working. Apparently your body starts to hate you if you sit in the exact same position longer than 14 hours a day, every day, for a few weeks.

Luckily I survived. I also know just how fast my heart can beat without blowing up (about 160 beats per minute according to my fitbit).
Another lucky break was that someone else took a photo of me while I was presenting so you can see just what terror in mid-sentence looks like.

If you’re someone that has trouble visualizing what your house might look like, check out our virtual test drives. You get to walk through your future home as if you’re walking through a real house. Seriously, lean over the railings, and it’s going to feel like you could fall. Send me an email if this is something you want to check out!
*Update January 2019: unfortunately, after a good run with the virtual test drives, the cost for the time required to create them became too much for what I would feel is a reasonable amount for my clients. Although I still believe that the virtual test drives are extremely valuable for the homeowner, I’ve put this service on hold for now until I can figure out a way to get the costs down.
