Here I share the projects that I am currently working on, or that have been newly released to the wild...or for permit, but saying I released them to the wild is much more fun.

Room Flow for Separate Schedules

What if you and your partner wake at different times? How do you get ready without disturbing the other?

Easy peasy.

Create a room flow that allows one person to get up and go into the bathroom, close the door, and then not need to go back into the bedroom at all.

Like this one where one person can shower, then get dressed, and then exit through the laundry room into the hallway. Voila!

Trimmed Out Windows

The trim around your windows and doors can completely change the style of your home.

This home screamed for a classic, yet strong look. Mission accomplished with these chunky pre-cast surrounds.

Lit Up Garage

Although I can’t guarantee your garage will be spider-free, I can vouch for how bright your garage would be with the addition of a glass overhead door so those little creepy little leggy buggers have nowhere to hide.

You can frost the glass too so your contents aren’t on display.

The difference that these doors make to your garage is huge!

Wide Open Spaces

High ceilings, no dividing walls, and lots of windows contribute to making this cottage layout feel like it’s an extension of the outdoor space. Truly room to breathe here!

Horizontal Lines

Horizontal lines help elongate the look of your home.

This elevation takes advantage of that trick with the window frames and the long horizontal strips of materials.

Wood Accents

Wood brings an earthy quality to a home’s facade. Something as simple as a few accents in the gables, can change the whole feel of your home.

Open Pantry Idea

Pantries are an extension of the kitchen. If you’re someone who loves to have labelled containers displaying your food items, or just want to keep your toaster or blender off the counter in your main kitchen, consider having your pantry without a door for easy access!

Transitional Modern Facade

This home showcases how sleek lines, repetitive windows, and slight symmetry can come together to form a home that I describe as ‘transitional modern’.

Double Access Mudroom

The most convenient rooms are ones that serve more than one function. The second most convenient rooms are ones that can serve the same function, twice.

Like this mudroom:

It serves the garage for your everyday arrival, but also serves the backyard. This way, any time you’re coming in from the outside all shoes get removed in the room that can handle a little extra dirt/water. No more wet shoes coming into your hardwood floors in the great room (or -gasp- carpet!).

Let The Light In

Nothing is better than a house full of natural light. This house has a window that spans both storeys at the stairwell, bringing in the light to every level all at once.
